Valuation benchmarks: what rounds look like at your stage and region
Filter by stage and region to see valuation ranges, round sizes, dilution, SAFE caps and timing. Rows marked verified cite a published report; rows marked indicative are SeedScope working ranges that the upcoming State of First-Time Founder Fundraising report will replace. Use them to sanity-check an offer, not to set a price.

Verified vs indicative
Verified rows quote a named report with a link and a period. Indicative rows are working ranges SeedScope uses in its tools; they are consistent with published data but have not been pinned to a single source on this page. Treat them as a sanity check, and treat a named report as the number to quote to an investor.
Why medians mislead at pre-seed
Half of all rounds are below the median, and sector moves the number by a factor of two: an AI infrastructure company and a local services marketplace at the same stage do not get the same cap. Use the range for your stage and region, then adjust for sector, team and traction with the valuation calculator.
What SeedScope adds
The SeedScope valuation model benchmarks your company against a global dataset of more than one million companies and the rounds matched investors actually close. The upcoming State of First-Time Founder Fundraising report will publish medians for first-time, AI-built and no-code companies, a segment the existing reports do not separate.
Questions founders ask
Can I quote these numbers in my deck?
Quote the verified rows with their source. Use the indicative ranges only as a sanity check, or run your own valuation and quote that.
Why is there no row for my country?
The page starts with the regions where most of our users raise. Email us the report you use and we will add the row with its source.
How often is this updated?
Verified rows are updated when the source publishes a new edition; indicative rows when the SeedScope data report is released.
