Investor mock meeting: practise with an investor who pushes back

Pick the investor, answer seven questions in writing and get challenged when an answer is vague, too long or has no number. At the end you get a score per answer and what to rewrite. The push-back follows fixed rules, so the feedback is predictable; your SeedScope assessment then lists the specific risks investors will raise about your startup.

Seven questions, typed answers, and an investor who pushes back when the answer is vague. The reactions are scripted rules (length, numbers, specifics, whether you addressed the real question), not AI, so the feedback is predictable and honest.

How the meeting works

The investor asks a question, you type the answer, and the rules check three things: is it long enough to be an answer but short enough to be a good one, does it contain a number when the question needs one, and does it address what the investor was really asking. Weak answers get a follow-up question.

Why typed answers

Writing the answer exposes gaps that talking hides. If you cannot write the retention number in one sentence, you do not know it well enough for the room. Practise the written version, then rehearse out loud with the investor dry run.

The three investors

Maya, an angel, asks why you and why now. Daniel, a seed VC, asks about retention, unit economics and the next round. Priya, a B2B investor, asks about sales cycles, champions and defensibility. Run all three.

The scripted version vs your SeedScope assessment

This page uses rules, not a model, so it runs in your browser and stores nothing. Your SeedScope assessment goes further: it scores the startup, lists the risks investors will raise and, on Founder Pro, gives you the full written analysis to prepare your answers from.

Questions founders ask

Are the questions random?

Seven are drawn from a bank of sixteen, filtered by the investor you chose, in random order.

How is the score calculated?

Each answer scores 0 to 3 on length, specificity and relevance; the report averages them.

Does it store my answers?

No. Refresh the page and they are gone.
