Post-money SAFE
The current YC SAFE, where the investor’s percentage is fixed at amount divided by cap before the priced round.
Introduced in 2018. Because the cap is post-money, every SAFE dilutes the founders, not later SAFE investors, and founders can see exactly how much they have sold. Most SAFEs signed today are post-money.
